How Trylane works
Trylane gives each visitor a temporary workspace inside a demo deployment of your app. You run the app and the data; Trylane runs the public demo page, visitor sessions and lifecycle.
import { Trylane } from "@trylane/sdk";
const demo = new Trylane({
url: process.env.TRYLANE_URL!,
key: process.env.TRYLANE_PROJECT_KEY!,
});What you provide
A separate demo deployment of your app with its own PostgreSQL database, a seed function that creates sample data for one visitor, a check in your request handlers, and the Trylane agent running next to your app. Never point Trylane at a production database.
What Trylane runs
The public demo page, visitor admission and plan limits, short-lived access grants, provisioning and cleanup jobs, session state, and milestone counts. It never receives database credentials, SQL or code from you.
Suggested reading order
