A session starts when someone opens a fresh demo workspace. Each visitor gets sample data in your real product, with their own changes kept separate from other visitors.

• Starting a demo uses one session from your monthly allowance.
• Each reset uses another session. A visitor can reset up to three times.
• At your limit, new sessions pause. Trylane never bills overages.

What each plan includes

Session allowances refresh each month. Demo hosting and the database stay on your own infrastructure bill.

Your actual product, running in a separate demo deployment. Visitors can create and edit real records within the actions you allow. Trylane is designed for TypeScript apps with PostgreSQL; it does not turn screenshots into a clickable tour.

Plan on an engineer for the first setup. You will need:

• A separate deployment of your app and a dedicated PostgreSQL database.
• The Trylane SDK and an agent running beside your demo app.
• A recipe that creates sample data and cleans it up afterwards.
• A session check before each action, with outside calls switched off.

Start with the 10-minute quickstart, then adapt the recipe to your product. Your database credentials stay on your infrastructure.

Yes, when you enable Keep this workspace. The records the visitor created can move into the account they open in your product. Sample data stays behind.

Your demo app encrypts the transfer with a key Trylane never sees. Your production app redeems a one-use code within 24 hours and imports the records. Read about Keep this workspace.

Access stops when the session expires. Your agent deletes that session’s records, and Trylane retries until cleanup succeeds. Milestone events are retained for 30 days so you can review what visitors tried.

No. Your demo app must block email, payments and outbound webhooks. The agent declares those outside effects disabled before you can publish a demo, and your application enforces those restrictions for each action.

Build is free with no card required. Launch is $79/month. Where available, yearly billing is $790/year, equivalent to 2 months free compared with monthly. Available offers are shown on the pricing page.

Paid checkout is handled by Polar. Manage your subscription from workspace Billing. Cancel any time; paid access continues until the end of the billing period. Every paid offer is a subscription.

Your plan covers Trylane’s demo coordination and insights. You host the demo deployment, database and agent, and pay those infrastructure costs separately. You control the seed data, allowed actions and session length.
