Terms of service
The agreement for using Trylane’s hosted demo management service.
Effective 25 October 2026, version 2026-10-25
Agreement and eligibility
These terms are between you and Kevin Tuyizere, an individual developer in Rwanda, operating as Trylane. Contact contact@trylane.app. By creating a workspace or using the hosted service, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it.
The service is intended for professional users aged 18 or older. Keep account details accurate, protect credentials, and tell us promptly about unauthorized access. You are responsible for authorized workspace members and for integrations you control. Mandatory consumer protections remain applicable where the law grants them, even though the service is designed for business use.
What the service provides
Trylane manages access, quotas and lifecycle commands for temporary, populated demos of applications you are authorized to operate. Your customer agent provisions and removes synthetic resources in your dedicated environment. You remain responsible for application authorization, row isolation, recipe correctness, external-effect restrictions, hosting and continued cleanup-agent operation.
Trylane is not an operating-system isolation boundary, a substitute for your own security review, or a guarantee that arbitrary application code is safe. Keep production data and production side-effect credentials out of demo deployments. A safety declaration records your configuration; it is not a certification.
Plans, subscriptions and charges
Build is free with the limits shown on Pricing. Launch is USD 79 per month, before applicable taxes, and renews monthly until cancelled. Polar is merchant of record and authorized reseller for checkout purchases; its buyer terms govern that purchase alongside these service terms. The checkout displays the actual price, currency, taxes and renewal details before payment.
The service enforces project, start, concurrency and runtime limits. A reset consumes another start and does not extend the session deadline. Hosting and database charges for your own demo application are separate. There are no automatic overage purchases in this release. We do not activate paid entitlements based only on a browser redirect.
Cancel using the billing portal accessible from workspace Billing, or contact support if you cannot access it. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Workspace deletion requires cancellation of an active subscription first. A payment failure, refund or expired verified entitlement can restrict future service use. Material price changes are notified before renewal, with any consent required by law and a chance to cancel.
Your content and our software
You retain ownership of your project content and configuration. You give us the limited permission needed to host, process and transmit them to provide and secure the service. You must have the rights and lawful basis to supply the information and instructions you submit.
We retain rights in Trylane’s hosted software, branding and documentation. You receive a limited right to use the service during your permitted access. Separately distributed SDK source and third-party components are governed by their accompanying licenses. Feedback may be used to improve the service without disclosing your confidential information.
Privacy and confidentiality
Our Privacy Policy describes our controller processing. The Data Processing Addendum governs personal data we process on workspace instructions. Each party protects the other’s non-public information using reasonable care and limits disclosure to people and providers who need it and have appropriate confidentiality obligations, except where law requires disclosure. Do not submit secrets in support messages or public project fields.
Suspension, termination and export
You can stop using the service and request workspace export/deletion in Settings. Keep the customer agent running until cleanup is confirmed. An export excludes credentials and does not include your separately hosted application database.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for unlawful use, material breach, abuse, payment failure or a security threat. Where practical, we give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue; urgent protective action may be immediate. We explain available steps to recover access where lawful. If we discontinue the service, we give reasonable advance notice and an opportunity to export where possible. Refund obligations for undelivered paid service and mandatory remedies remain unaffected.
Availability and responsibility
We use reasonable care and skill to provide the service. No uptime percentage, response-time commitment or particular business outcome is promised unless separately agreed in writing. Third-party outages and misconfigured customer applications can affect demos. Maintain your own backups and test your integration before sharing it.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties beyond the commitments stated here and liability for indirect losses or lost profits. Our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to fees you paid for it in the preceding 12 months, or USD 100 for free use. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including non-excludable personal injury liability, fraud, deliberate misconduct, or statutory data-protection and consumer remedies that cannot be limited. Nothing removes your right to a remedy for a service that the law requires to meet a particular standard.
Law, disputes and changes
Rwandan law governs these terms, subject to mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights that apply where you live. Contact contact@trylane.app first so we can try to resolve a dispute. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear a claim; these terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or prevent complaints to regulators.
We may update terms to reflect service or legal changes. Material changes are notified in advance where practical and as required by law, with their effective date. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights. If you disagree, cancel before the change takes effect. Any separate agreement expressly signed by both parties prevails for its subject matter. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
