Acceptable use policy
Keep demos authorized, synthetic and contained.
Effective 25 October 2026, version 2026-10-25
Permitted use
Use Trylane only with applications and infrastructure you own or are authorized to administer. Use dedicated demo environments and synthetic records. Validate that allowed actions remain inside each visitor’s scoped resource and cannot trigger real-world effects.
Prohibited use
- Do not import production customer data, sensitive personal information, children’s information, live payment credentials or secrets into demo recipes or public configuration.
- Do not use demos to send unsolicited mail, execute real payments, publish real customer webhooks, deploy malware, mine cryptocurrency, run unlawful content or violate intellectual-property/privacy rights.
- Do not bypass quotas, authentication, row isolation, expiry, revocation, request signatures or rate limits; do not access another visitor’s or workspace’s records.
- Do not attack, overload, scan third-party systems without permission, conceal incidents, or disable cleanup to keep temporary access beyond its permitted lifetime.
- Do not misrepresent the integration’s safety declarations or describe a queued cleanup as completed deletion.
Response and reporting
We may restrict harmful activity and investigate proportionately under the Terms. Where practical, we explain the issue and allow correction; urgent security or legal risks may require immediate action. Report abuse to contact@trylane.app and vulnerabilities to security@trylane.app. Do not include working secrets or other people’s personal records in an initial report.
